Playing together: Take turns or search as a team. There is no timer. On a keyboard, press Tab to move between details and Enter or Space to check one. A hint highlights one detail to compare; tap it when you spot the change.

A seaside search for small changes

Enjoy a bright beach scene with sand, gentle water and the pleasures of a day by the sea. These two seaside pictures look almost the same, but ten clear details have changed. Let your eyes travel across the whole view before choosing a place to start. Imagine arriving at the beach and deciding where to put your towel or build a sandcastle.

Compare the two pictures slowly, looking at one small area before moving to the next. Tap a detail that looks different in either picture. A circle appears around the matching location in both versions, and the counter adds one discovery. Each difference counts once, even if you tap it again in the other picture. You can watch the progress bar grow as you work towards all ten.

The seaside offers plenty of words to use while playing together. Describe something close to the water, higher in the picture or beside another object. You might also talk about your favourite beach activity or invent a story about a day out. Return to the pictures after each conversation and see whether looking again helps you notice a detail you missed before.

There is no timer or penalty for a mistaken guess. Use Hint if you would like a little help finding an area to compare, then select the changed detail yourself. You can take turns with a friend, ask someone to describe a clue or start again for another round. After finding all ten differences, try the next scene or return to the collection to choose a different adventure.
