Make your cards: Print single-sided on thick, opaque paper or card. Choose A4 and “Actual size” / 100% for both pages so all cards have the same size. Colour matching pictures the same and cut along the dashed lines. Leave the backs blank. The previews above are the two pages of the same complete-game PDF.

Remember a colourful group of wild animals

Jungle Animals Memory brings together ten different wild animal illustrations for a printable matching game. Look for the tiger, elephant, monkey, giraffe, zebra, gorilla, parrot, toucan, crocodile and snake. Each drawing has an identical partner on the second sheet, giving players twenty cards in total. Children can colour the animals before cutting out the set and arranging a game on the table.

The pictures offer plenty of details to discuss during preparation. Notice stripes, long necks, curled tails, feathers and different body outlines. Compare the parrot with the toucan or the monkey with the gorilla, letting the child explain what helps them recognise each one. The collection is a playful group of animals, and knowing their names is not required before enjoying a round.

Colour each matching pair alike so the finished illustrations remain easy to compare. Once the cards are face down, players take turns revealing two pictures and trying to remember where their partners were seen. Naming a newly revealed animal can help everyone follow the round. If the two cards differ, return them to the same positions before the next player's turn.

Download the complete two-page A4 PDF through the button above; both previews belong to that single game file. Print the sheets at the same scale, use thick opaque paper and cut along the dashed rectangles. You can start with a smaller selection of complete pairs, then bring in more animals for a longer game. Keep the cards together afterwards, ready for another visit to the collection.
