Make your cards: Print single-sided on thick, opaque paper or card. Choose A4 and “Actual size” / 100% for both pages so all cards have the same size. Colour matching pictures the same and cut along the dashed lines. Leave the backs blank. The previews above are the two pages of the same complete-game PDF.

Match unicorns through their poses and little details

Unicorns Memory offers ten different unicorn illustrations, each with an identical matching copy. The pictures show different poses and companions: a crescent moon, star, pillow, rainbow, balloon, crown, gift, book, teddy bear or flower. Across the two printable sheets, these designs become twenty cards for a complete game. Children can colour the characters and their accessories before cutting out the set.

Because every picture features a unicorn, the extra details are especially useful for telling the cards apart. Ask which unicorn is reading, which is resting and which has a balloon. A child might give the characters names or describe their actions in a sentence. These descriptions can become helpful reminders when the cards are turned face down and the matching search begins.

Colour both copies of each design in a similar way, including its distinctive object or background detail. Then follow the Memory rules to mix the cards, arrange them in rows and take turns revealing two. Look carefully at the pose and accessory when deciding whether the pictures are identical. Return different cards to their original places so players can use what they remember on later turns.

The complete game is available in one two-page A4 PDF, with ten cards on each sheet. Open the file in a new tab and print both pages single-sided on thick, opaque paper or card. Keep the backs blank and cut along the dashed outlines. After playing, the visible cards can inspire a short unicorn story, adding another creative activity to the finished collection.
