Make your cards: Print single-sided on thick, opaque paper or card. Choose A4 and “Actual size” / 100% for both pages so all cards have the same size. Colour matching pictures the same and cut along the dashed lines. Leave the backs blank. The previews above are the two pages of the same complete-game PDF.

Find a matching journey by land, air or water

Vehicles Memory combines ten different transport drawings in a printable colouring and matching game. The pictures include a car, bus, bicycle, motorcycle, fire engine, tractor, excavator, aeroplane, helicopter and sailboat. Each vehicle has an identical copy, giving players twenty cards and ten pairs across the complete set. Children can explore the shapes and details while preparing their own game.

Before colouring, talk about how the vehicles look and what they might do. Find wheels, wings, a sail or a digging arm, and describe the feature that makes a picture easy to recognise. You could group the visible cards by land, air and water, or discuss a journey the child has taken. The conversation can stay simple and follow whichever vehicle attracts their attention.

Use similar colours for the two copies of each drawing and cut the cards along their dashed rectangles. When they are mixed face down, take turns revealing two pictures and looking for an identical pair. A remembered wheel shape or distinctive sail may help a player recall where another card was seen. Return different pictures to their original positions before the next turn.

The download button opens one PDF containing two A4 sheets, with ten cards on each. Print both pages single-sided, use the same scale and choose opaque paper or card so the pictures stay hidden from behind. Keep the finished vehicles together between games. You can play a shorter round with fewer complete pairs or use all twenty cards when everyone wants a longer search.
